Should you decide to book an intensive driving course with us you must agree with the terms and conditions set out below. You will need to tick the check box on the booking form to confirm this.
Your Responsibility
1. You must ensure that you have a valid provisional licence, if it is the old style paper licence then you must bring your passport with you.
2. The course deposit must be paid at the time of booking.
3. You are responsible for any items you leave in the instructors car.
4. You should ensure your eyesight meets the required standard, should you fail the eyesight test then you will need to see an optician and will lose your course fee and test date.
5. Should you need to cancel the course you should do so earlier than 14 days from the start date, should you cancel within 14 days of starting the course then you will lose your course fee.
6. You must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, it is illegal to drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol, should the instructor suspect that you are under the influence you will lose the days tuition. There will be no refund for lost hours.
7. Abusive or threatening behaviour to the instructor or other road users will not be tolerated, should this happen then the course will be terminated and you will lose the course fee.
8. As soon as you receive notification of test timings you must ensure all details are correct.
9. As there will be breaks during the day you should ensure you have sufficient funds for drinks and snacks.
Instructors responsibility
1. To provide a suitable dual control car for the course, unless the pupil wishes to use their own car.
2. Arrive and start each days tuition at the time agreed.
3. Upon receiving your details via e-mail he or she will book the test and inform you of the date.
4. Arrange the course dates and timings in conjunction with the pupil.
General 1. The instructor will only allow you to use his or her car for the test if they consider you to be up to the standard required by the DSA.
2. Driving tests take priority over lessons so if a pupil has a test booked during your course then the test will take place and your lesson timings adjusted accordingly. |
